Event warmup:

No warmup (unless you count standing in line for the porta-potties!)
Run
  • 2h 46m 37s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 12m 43s  min/mile
Comments:

I didn't make registration on time, so I ran as a 35 year old XL man named Fred. In actuality, it was my birthday present to myself. I am actually a 21 year old (22 tomorrow) M girl!
What would you do differently?:

NOTHING!!! I had a FANTASTIC time!!!
Post race
Warm down:

I pulled my back out within a minute of crossing the finish line. OUCH!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I ran with someone else. I think we paced each other PERFECTLY!!!

Event comments:

FANTASTIC!!! I can't wait to do it again next year. Also, the Sandman Triathlon will be held in the SAME SPOT in just 2 weeks! Race Reports to follow!!

What a great way to run a 1/2 marathon!! You must be in pretty good shape to run one, and stop and drink a beer part way though, and still finish with a respectable time.

Great job, good luck with your back!!!
