Pre-race routine:

Got up early to get a good spot in transition.
Had one can Slim Fast and two blueberry muffins. (Muffins weren't sittng really well about 30minutes prior to start, but settled before my heat)

Felt ok, but not as good as could have been. Had one guy quite a bit faster adn drafted when possible off him, and another guy I never saw again after the start.

This is still my weakness and needs attention. I would be a medal contender if I could get my run times down.
Saying that! I averaged about a minute per mile better than last year!!
Still needs work though.

Warm down:

walked and talked, drank a gatorade and ate an orange. After a bit I showered and felt good.

I really like this race. This was my 3rd year and have really enjoyed all of them. The director, staff, and volunteers do a top notch job. I would and have recommend this race to anyone!
Sorry I missed the BT meeting. I had bike issues in the transition area. I was really hoping to meet some fellow BTers in person. May have to check into the temporary tattos. Not even sure if they are selling them this year.

Nice race, and those transition times are impressive. Great bike too, especially considering the wind and rain.

Nice race!  Sorry I missed seeing you.  The wind & rain added some fun into the mix for those of you in the later heats.  You had great times even with those conditions!
