Post IM let down.

Event comments:

Great race, but I think the heat and camping of the venue is wearing down on me. I tried that no camping thing that didn't work, but the camping and not enjoying myself for a full weekend kind of sucks. I need to decide about next year. I know I want to do IM California in March and maybe I need to look at the Long course here rather than Olympic. I don't know I am just very unhappy with my performance, even it was the second best I have done here.

Hey Jason, even though you were unhappy with the result, it's a good report, especially to finish it out when you know you aren't meeting your goals.

Maybe it is time to go for the long course?  I agree though, camping and tri'ing is very hard.

Sunday's Race was really tough with the higher temps and not much wind.

We have not had much of an opportunity to get out and train in warmer weather and this day just hammered a lot of folks.

I know your dissapointed but you were able to cross the finish line and walk away from this one and some days, that is good enough

Hope you make it out to Oceanside next year; should be another really great race.

Take Care an Recover Well
