Great Idea!

I crossed the finish line:  2008:  9 times

My goal for 2009:  12 times

Hey Rich!  It was so much fun reading your race report - excellent work my friend! I admire you greatly.

As for crossing the finish line - hmmm - I haven't been doing a lot of the smaller races (5ks and such) and just focused on tris.  Still there are a couple that I've always wanted to check out, so we'll see what I can do and what the schedule will allow.

If you count bike rides that aren't really races, I crossed the finish line 6 times in 2008.  I'll go for 8 in 2009.

Hey! Where is everyone? HELLO! HELLO! HELLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Who's out there?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have taken a well deserved rest after Ironman Arizona and am getting antzy! I guess I've rested enough. I'm doing fun stuff right now....I even pulled out my racquetball racket and played racquetball for the first time in 15 years(?).

I know that many of you have had bad weather so I hope all is well!

Thinking of you guys!

Hey hey hey!  Would you believe that I'm gearing up for my first race next weekend?  It's the Frost Yer Fanny Duathlon!  I've never done a du before, so this should be interesting. In preparation, I went out and rode the course this morning in 35 degree weather.  It could have been worse.  I was way slower than I wanted to be but the four layers I had on didn't exactly make me aerodynamic The 10-day forecast is calling for sunny weather and a high of 62 on race day, so maybe I won't need as many layers then.  We'll see!

What's everyone else up to?
