Tonight I decided to meet one of my short-term goals and run 3 miles in less than 8 min per mile. My average ended up being 7:23/mile and the thing that kept me going was being able to share it with people who would understand. This is the fastest I have ever run one mile, much less three so needless to say I'm a pretty happy guy tonight.

Now, can anyone tell me how to line them out?

Wow nice job. Thats a 22min 5k! Not many people can claim that.

As for the strike out, if HTML is on you put before your words and after them.

like this

< s >  before and < / s > after, without the spaces.

Right on man, good pace! I am trying to get back to that pace. My best average pace since knee and ankle injury is an average of 8:30. It is coming back quickly though. Keep up the good work man!

Wow, that is quite a bit below your goal, :37.  What was your previous PB for that distance.

The last time I tried it was last week and I missed the 24:00 min mark my just a few seconds. Before that I was probably somewhere closer to the 26:00 mark, my times have really improved a lot since my marathon. I spoke with a few other folks around here and they said that they all noticed faster times when they had finished theirs too. Next goal is the 10k but that will be a while.

Yeah, mine dropped pretty dramatically when I started training for longer races, where I actually tried to run slower for a longer distance.  I would go run a 5K race for fun and my time would be dramatically slower.  I guess sometimes going slow makes us faster.
