biking milestone

Hey everybody!

I just wanted to post a biking milestone. I just got a road bike 6 or 7 weeks ago and yesterday completed my longest ride-50 mile (51.4 to be exact) in Chippewa Falls, WI. I have done 30-35 mile rides many times, so this was a definite increase in distance. I feel pretty good (just my neck is a little sore). Hopefully next year I can tackle the 75 or the century ride.

It was a great ride! For 25$, it was fully supported, 500 riders, 35, 50, 75, & 100 routes, and all the brats you can eat and leines beer you can drink at the end. Nice rolling hills with scenic bridges and river crossings. Two of my friends did the 100 so I drank plenty of beer waiting for them
