Comments: Awful. Well, not AWFUL awful, but not good for me. I walked for the 1st time during a race ever. Not once, not twice but like a dozen times. 10 to 30 seconds per time but it really impacted my time. What would you do differently?: I have had shin splints in my right legs for about 4 weeks. I didn't really run much in the 3 weeks and that killed me. Why I think that I could just go out and run 13.1 miles and do as well as my last run is beyond me. Going forward I need to stretch more and hydrate better. Post race

Pretty much did everything wrong for this one. Halfway decent breakfast but 2 cups of coffee. Stayed up too late after 2 cups of coffee at about 8:00 pm. Really smart.
