Topeka Tinman meet-n-greet?

Dave and I are planning on driving in that morning, so we wouldn't be able to get together the night before, although that sounds like fun. It looks like there'll be a bunch of us at the race though, so we should definitely arrange a pre-race meeting & group BT picture.

We still haven't decided if we'll bring Grace or not. Dave said she lost her triathlon privileges at the BikeSource tri by barking the whole time, so my guess is she probably won't be there... but I'm looking forward to meeting Bentley (and his super-cool-Cervelo-One-riding owner).

We'll (wife and dog since everyone else is bringing theirs....dog, not signicificant other) be driving up that morning also but would defintely like to meet everyone. If someone coordinates a spot, I'll be there...

I'm thinking about making a BT poster for us to gather 'round the morning-of... If I do, I will post a picture of it next week so you can look for it. Looks like the night before will probably be hectic, and we all need to eat a good dinner and try to sleep

I'm trying to think back to last year and a good place to congregate... let me know if you have any ideas. [OOH! THE PORTA POTTIES! HA]

And Bentley may or may not have gotten his triathlon priveledges reinstated... it depends on if my parents are willing to put up with him or not

hmmm... I don't have a dog to bring, I could just bark loudly... shouldn't be hard to find the weird barking guy.... but then I might lose my triathlon privileges too..

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to be there...I gotta decide by tomorrow.

I'm up for meeting everyone. I also don't have a dog to bring and sidnificant other can't come, but I'll be there just the same. I live in Lawrence so I will be driving in morning of. Let me know where and I'll be there!

I wish I would have saw this earlier. The Tinman was my first also. I would love to meet some more beginners, to get involved in that triathlete family environment. If any beginners wants to meet before the Mayhem in Lawrence July 22nd let me know.

I've got it on my calendar. After my knee injury, Mayhem may be my first one.

I'll be at Mayhem as well, I think Lisac957 is going to volunteer at that one but don't quote me on that.
