Hi all,

I hope it's OK to post this. My friend Carrie the multi-marathoner was someone who inspired me to try the tri...and now she's branching out and creating her own line of gear! 

 Like a lot of us, she was frustrated at trying to carry her phone (for safety on early morning runs) and her keys while still keeping her hands free. And one day she realized....why not build a sports bra that contains a pocket to hold that stuff?

So she's been learning how to build gear and has created a few prototypes called "the Turtle Bra." I wanted to post it here because it's something I know a lot of people would find useful. I have absolutely no stake in the sale of these bras - I just knew that the BT ladies would want to know about it.

So what happens when you sweat all over your phone? I ruined a car key button thingy that way...the battery corroded after months of sweating all over it!

This is a good idea, as I already throw stuff (gels, keys, etc) in my sports bra when I run (hey, the bra has gotta hold something, right?), but if there was a pocket that could protect that stuff somewhat from the sweat, so much the better.

It'd be nice to see a pic on the site, however.

When I ran the NJ marathon, there was an awesome running top with a zipper pocket in front. Unfortunately, I didn't buy one and now I'm kicking myself... What an awesome idea. Last time I stuck GUs down my front I got 2 very painful cuts- 1 on either boob. Explain that one to the Mr... So, I've taken to sticking them down the back of my bra between my shoulder blades. Not a great idea for phones though. Too sweaty.
