So this was my first time out at these TT's. They race the same course every Tuesday. I thought it might be a fun change from my regular Tuesday ride so I thought that I would give it a shot. My friend Troy was heading out to the race as well so at least I would know one other person.

I started out in 8th position and figured that I was probably going to be out there for about 30 min so I would pace myself like a 5k. Just giver :). I started hammering off the get go and settled into a good pace. I was pushing hard but I thought that I could probably maintain it for the course.

At around the 4k mark I passed the guy who started a minute in front of me and surprised that I caught someone already. I keep going and ended up passing two others that had started out in front of me. That is when I started thinking that I might actually do really well. I wasn't really sure of my speed becuase I was putting all my effort into just keeping up the pace that I didn't really look at my computer.

After the race I was presently surprised to find that I had the 2nd best tiem of the night 20 sec behind the overall winner and that people were saying that it was a slow night! Apparently most peoples times were a min to 1.5 minutes slower then normal. I'll have to try and get out on a good day and see what time I can put up.

Nothing. I was a little tired from racing on the weekend, but other then that I felt good.

Rode around a bit and talked to a few people.


Not sure. I'm shocked I went as fast as I did.


I will definitely be doing this again. A lot of fun.
