Pre-race routine:

Got there early for a change, met up with Queen of Pain from BT, who by the way is fabulous! Little stretch and pre race jog to the start line.

Comments:

Over all good- usual reminders need more hill and interval training. Also discovered I am so used to strating slow because of who I normally run with my bod isn't used to keep the same faster pace throughout. I tired out earlier thatn I thought I should have.
What would you do differently?:

Not much except cut Emily loose sooner -poor sweetie I really slowed her down
Post race
Warm down:

A little stretch before heading to the subway

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not pacing correctly

Event comments:

Nice touch w/ roses and medals for the "ladies" all women 10K

Nice race!    It was so much fun getting to meet you and run this race with you.  It will be a perfect race to remember NYC by.

Also for the record...a) you are great too b) you REALLY didn't slow me down- if I had wanted to race it I would have and c) sorry about the faster speed from the get-go!

Congrats!

No -the faster speed was good cause it made me realize some thing I've been doing wrong in my races! You were sort of my Dave Scott for the day
