Only tri club in Missy that I know of is run through the city. It good for coached pool swims, spinning etc. check out the city website for details:

Brampton has Fletchers Meadow

Great value and good group

Burlington also has a tri group, Caledon has C3 and Milton has a tri group that offers organized swims at Kelso.

Kelso is the most popular place to go for training and you will meet people from many groups out there swimming, riding and running after work most nites and weekend mornings.

Good luck and ping me if you are looking for more detail.

I'm not sure about the Sauga, but as far as I know there isn't a tri club based out of Oakville. We tend to be a lazy bunch. Lazy triathletes, chalk that up as a "oxymoron of the year" canditate.

Yep, Glen Eden is part of the Kelso conservation area.

Some info can be found here:

In terms of swimming times, you can just go out any time and swim at the beach area along the bouy line at the western end of the lake.

The Milton tri group has set up to have organized swims Thursdays at 6 pm and Sat's at 8:15am- 10. It costs 90$ to join for the season and they swim around the perimeter of the east end of the lake with lifegards supervising. They don't have website that I know of, you may be best to just go there and sign up on one of the times. You need be an OAT member to join.

Good luck.
