Pre-race routine:

Um, took a nap, had a root beer float at 3pm. Race was at 5:30 pm.
Event warmup:

Rode 30-35 miles. We didn;t really know because no one had computers on their bikes! LOL.

HOT and MUGGY. It didn't cool down until mile 3 when you got a little elevation. The day was beautiful.

I had a 34-27 and I should have pushed it a little more. I didn't take my inhaler before the race and I was worried about blowing up on the climb and having an asthma attack.
Next year I will break 1:15.

Sounds tough...but builds strength...you are doing IMLP right?

I like your competitive attitude about next year....great motivation to keep training come rain, snow, sleet, and winter.
