Pool swim, 5 swimmers per lane. I was seated last. The slower front people wounldn't pull over at the wall and the two people right in front of me wouldn't pass mid lane.
What would you do differently?:

Predict my swim time more aggresively to get seated in a faster lane.

I skipped the socks and wore my running shoes on the bike. The speed laces that I bought the day before really helped.

70% on a hard packed trail. I took a few turns too fast and sketched out a bit. Concentrated on drinking during the pavement sections. Tried to hold back a little so I wasn't empty for the run.

I had expected my fitness to be better from comming off a half marathon the weekend before, so I was a bit dissapointed. Took a water bottle with me and tried to drink lots and stay cool. I appreciated the spray down from the folks with the water guns, although a little less pressure would have sufficed.

Great food options at the end. Grabbed a few things then sat down and watched the Super Sprint competitors finish.
