Thanks. We will be there Saturday night and Sunday night, so we'll be able to try a couple.  Not sure I can agree on the best crabcake...I'm from Baltimore.

No crab cake you get in Morgantown will beat Faidley's at Lexington Market or the Olive Grove in Linthicum. I'll second the Wings Ole recommendation. Two tacos and a half dozen wings from there will probably sit heavy on my belly on my way back to Maryland on Sunday.

Well, what'd everyone think about the race?  The bike course was far tougher than I thought it would be, which is saying a lot because I thought it would be pretty hard.  Thank goodness for the flat run course!

I did the half but I thought I'd chime in.  It was brutal!!!  I drove the course the night before and really got freaked out.  I did my first loop and thought it was ok.  REALLY REALLY hard, but do-able.  The second loop was horrible.  At mile 44 I was done.  I just wanted to get off my bike.  I stayed on and made it through.  I was happy for the flat run course.  Although I didn't run as much as I would have liked.

All in all, a great race and a great day.   I ended up eating at the hotel Saturday night and went to the Brewery for some Pizza Sunday night.

Well done Christy.  I specifically remember thinking to myself near the end of my bike course how glad I was that I didn't have a second loop.  Good for you for sticking with it!

My family and I grabbed pizza at the Brewery afterward as well.  Yum!

Once (well, twice) around that bike course was enough for me.  Plus I moved across the country.  So, I'm out.

Good luck to everyone doing it!

What hotels are closest to the start/finish? I did this a few years ago and I recall that the Waterfront Place? was the host hotel and close to transition. However, I believe that the course has changed. Does anyone know?

I stayed at the Waterfront last year.  It was a quick walk to the start and a nice hotel.

Good luck!

I can't get the mapmyride link to work on my work PC. Is the bike course on the rail trial this year? I really "enjoyed" the climbs on last year's course. Any chance we can arrange another landslide?

I am coming in from Ohio, is this the same bike course as last year? I am expecting hills, I noticed last years times were 2:40 for Olympic seems slow, but I am assuming due to the hilly bike yea?
