Just a thread to see who's racing this upcoming weekend in St. Cloud. Any hints or suggestions about the race course would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be there too!

Never done this race before so no idea what the course'll be like.

See you there.

No real surprises on the course that I remember. Run times seem a bit slow for some reason.

The swim is kind of... yucky, but not nearly as bad as Albert Lea. Clearer water, but more weeds and a few rocks.

Looks like a warm one!

Low of 74 on Saturday night means race time temps could be in the 80s. Drink plenty on Saturday and eat well.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 74.
Sunday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 91.

I rolled my ankle Tuesday and it is still pretty swelled up, so if it doesn't go down, I don't think I'll be making the trip down there...I'll keep you updated!!

Best of luck with that one. Rest...

I don't know which races you have prioritized, but you are young and will heal much quicker than us old farts. The key is to not make anything worse. If racing and training would make things worse, don't do it.

Running would be the only thing that may foul things up. Transitions would also have a higher probability for an accident, especially if you run in cycling shoes.

Race if you feel better, but DON'T MAKE THINGS WORSE!

The ankle is feeling a lot better today!! I will make a decision in the morning but as of right now I plan on racing, so watch out just kidding. I hope everyone has safe travels and good luck if I don't run into before the race!!
