Coach vs. no coach (Page 2)

Ironman Kentucky.

Well, I'm all about having a coach. I honestly didn't know where to start with a training plan and I didn't have any focus on how to ramp up and taper for races.

I basically knew that I would need a coach to get to the HIM and IM racing level. There is no way I would have laid out a plan myself.

But that's me. I know plenty of people who do their own training plans and have successful races.

As for me, I will be keeping my coach until I race my first IM in 08.
