Swim
Comments: All I can say is this was a bad swim for me, but I didn't really expect anything better. What would you do differently?: Train more, listen to my swim coach. Transition 1
Comments: I spent a bit too much time in transition. Chatted with folks next to me. What would you do differently?: Next time on a sprint distance, I won't worry about wearing socks or gloves. Run from pool to transition site and from transition to bike mount line. Bike
Comments: I felt great on the bike. I really don't remember much about the bike course. Began hydrating and chomping on shot bloks. What would you do differently?: Push my speed a bit more. Work on cornering. Transition 2
Comments: I was a bit speedier on this transition. Grabbed what I could and ran with it and put it on as I ran. Run
Comments: This run course was FLAT!!! I was moving along faster than I thought. Lots of support and cheering on the run course. Post race
Warm down: I went to the locker room at the pool and took a shower. Felt great! Last updated: 2007-06-09 12:00 AM

I got up at 4:00 am and had loaded most of my gear into the truck the night before, so all I had to get was my Heed and water bottles out of the fridge. Had the usual oatmeal and banana with soy milk and ate that in the truck driving to the race. I wasn't very hungry so didn't eat it all.
Set up transition, talked to friends, chillaxed. no worries, no stress... Since I was the second person to start, I wandered over to the pool and asked the race director if I could get in to start getting used to the water.
