Tried not to throw up. Later realized I was pregnant.

Started too far back since this was the first tri I did and was scared. Ended up too far outside and had a hard time finding my way back in to the rope.
What would you do differently?:

Start closer to the front. Stay near the rope.

Didn't run from the beach to the transition area because I was too embarrassed (fat) to run in front of people in my bathing suit. Was a little more tired than I had anticipated so I took a longer time getting my shoes on. I was also a little confused about where I COULD get on my bike so getting on the bike was a little clumsy.
What would you do differently?:

Jog from the beach to the transition area. Understand the rules about getting on the bike better.
