That would be the Cervélo One and the Cannondale IM1000?!?  Are you buying both or deliberating between the two?

I have a cannondale mountain bike and it is the best handling bike I have owned and it is light. Everyone I know who has a Cannondale loves it. Cervelo it is a good bike but the owners don't seem as passionate and enthusiastic about their bikes as Cannondale owners.

Man. if that's not the most subjective piece of crap criticism I've ever heard...

People love there Cannondales. They are amazing bikes. Cervelo I have heard mixed reviews. Especially concerning duarability and handling.

Would that be the Cervelo bikes that stores can not seem to keep in stock?

I think that most of the owners of either brand have good and bad things to say about there bikes.

I just think you need to be careful what you say, because you do not want to anger the bike gods!!!

Or you will find yourself 20 miles out on a country road with a flat and no spare.

I have been there, it is not good

Both of those bikes are good.

I think as always it comes down to which one feels better the better the feel and fit the more you will ride and the more you will love your bike.

Man, it is good to be back.

I'd rank cervelo owners up there with fans of Cleveland Browns, Elvis Presley, and Nascar....they are the most irrationally passionate people I know where it concerns a bike brand.  Just go visit Slowtwitch.com for a few minutes, you'll see what I mean.

Now, us Felt owners, we're more level headed and open minded about things.

I love my Cervelo!
I wouldn't dream of owning another bike.
I am 5 mph faster on my Cervelo than any other bike.
I won't even speak to you unless you own one too!
If you don't have a Cervelo I don't think they should let you race in triathlons!

How was that?... wink, wink ;-)

I too have a Cannondale. I've not riden anything else, other than a cheap Walmart bike, but I love my bike!!! I'd rather be on my bike than in my new truck!! Maybe it's the peace and quiet of not having children fighting in the back that makes me love the bike!!??? Regardless, the Cannondale is a sweet ride!!

That is great!  You got a tri bike.  Cannondales are wonderful, as are Cervélos, Treks, QR's, Felts, and a host of other fine brands.  The main thing is that you bought the bike that YOU like and not what someone else thinks is the best bike.  Tri on Brandin... :-)

I cannot offer you a passionate opinion on a particular brand...but since I am currently doing my tris on a 17 year old Raleigh Technium MB, I would consider it an ultimate blessing to have a road or tri bike.

Happy riding when you choose your bike and take to the roads!

I own a Klein Quantum(The original thin walled big tube alum bike) and a Cervelo P3. Both are great at what they do. I tend to do a lot of miles and yes the Klein is more comfortable than the Cervelo but not because of any design flaws or shortcomings it's a Tri bike and very stiff and takes a little getting used to in the handling department. Bottom line is to ride several brands (most good shops will allow you to do a test ride, if they know you that may even be over a weekend as my local shop does) ask people that own different brands they may allow you to ride theirs. Lastly, I have found that proper fit is the most important thing.

Long Live Felt.  Is that bike a B2?  Lucky dog.

I just wish they had a bigger selection of accessories.
