Planned on 8:30 miles and was holding pretty well until we actually hit the path along the lake. The air was REALLY HEAVY and I just had to slow down.

Nothing. I do need to figure out the whole breathing/allergy deal. It's starting to annoy me. I need to stay on it even into the fall/winter season because breathing gets easier as the cold rolls in and I could easily lose focus.

I stopped and drank water. Chit chatted with the ladies.


Continuing asthma issues and my laziness to address them.


Very well organized race. After race activities were okay. They handed out flowers at the end of the race, which was lovely but I ended up giving mine to someone else who was heading home right away. I decided breakfast was more important than a carnation.
