I'm staying at Bonnet Creek Wyndham Resort, right next to Carribean Beach Resort. Pln on walking to the marathon start (1.35 miles), and have a support crew bring my stuff for after the race.
After the half I plan on icing, then eating pasta asap, and soaking in the resort hottub til I fall asleep then head back to my room.
I plan on going to Pleasure Island Sunday night, even if I have to crawl!

We are staying at Bonnet Creek too!! We have a big extended family crew of 10 adults and 4 kids, 3 of us are doing the marathon. We arrive on Friday and are staying for the full week so our plan is to go to a big dinner at Boma on Friday w/ the whole crew, get up early on Sat. and take our kids to Hollywood Studios (MGM) for an early day, make a nice early pasta dinner and hit the bed by 8 pm. I am thinking the starting line is walking distance from Bonnet Creek - anyone have any info about that?

PSA:  Ya'll pay attention to traffic reports along I4.  There was a massive pileup this morning and currently both ways are closed and they have no idea when it will reopen.  It is in Lakeland, a bit to the left of Orlando, so if you're coming from the Tampa area....

carry on.   and have a great race/s!!

Thanks for the heads up.  We'll be coming in from the north so it shouldn't be a problem.

If you are traveling..be careful.!!

Subject: RE: Bib Number Available (transfer) - Full Marathon

ccleasby - 2007-12-30 6:41 PM Hey all, My family member will not be able to run in the Disney Full Marathon, as he has not been able to train for it this year (adoption/work/etc). If someone is interested in running... the bib number is available for the cost to normally register for it (he said it was $105). Disney is very strange about transfers and such and the name will not be able to be changed but the medal and pride would be yours. If you would like the bib, let me know so I can get my uncle to get the chip and number to hand off to you. If no takers, no prob. [email protected]

If it were for the half I'd be all over it.  Sorry.
