Swim
Comments: This was a great swim. No real waves and everyone spread out nicely. The AG waves were guys and girls together but I only got kicked by a guy once. I was smart and pinned my timing chip on...it fell off during this race before and it tried to fall off again today. I think there is soap in the St. Lawrence River I'm trying to figure out if the time was including transitions, since there are no transition times on the final results...? Transition 1
Comments: ?? time...wasn't on the final results. Maybe they didn't add them in at all!! Bike
Comments: Nothing too significant, I felt I held a good enough pace throughout Transition 2
Comments: ??? time ???? I did a spectaclar skid going downhill on the pavement into transition with my bike shoes :) Run
Comments: I was terrified that my ITBS leg was going to crap out on me. It started to get cranky at 4km but did not go beyond that the rest of the way. YAY, that was a huge breakthrough for me....rehab is WORKING after a frustrating month and a half of minimal gains. My time was OK considering my layoff from running. Boy was I smiling at the finish line!!!!! What would you do differently?: Not have ITBS and have to quit running for 5 weeks Post race
Warm down: Cheered everyone else on while stretching the heck out of my IT band What limited your ability to perform faster: ITBS stricken since July 7 Last updated: 2007-08-18 12:00 AM
