Comments:

Transition was HUGE, and a mud pit. Somebody was nice enough to take my perfectly organized transition and make it look like a tornado hit. My shoes were two bike over, my helmet was moved. Not happy.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.

Just totally faded. Really would like to get to the point where I could sustain the 7:50.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough running. I have become so much stronger in the bike vs run it is laughable.

Event comments:

Overall a tremendous course, just the right challenge, very fun. There were alot of little things with the race organization that made me wonder if they are getting lazy in 25 years. The most disturbing BY FAR is no security in the transition when I went to get my bike. How can that happen in such a big race?? Just happy my bike was atill there.

Wow you guys are fast! Nice work. Transistion sucked. During setup me and the guy next to me set our bikes just far enough apart that we had room and DID NOT leave enough for another bike since we had a really good spot. Some ahole decided to wedge in and just moved our stuff aside. And when I got back from the bike his stuff was overlapping mine and I had to move a bunch of crap to get to my run shoes. WTF is wrong with people!?

Anyway, sorry about the rant. VERY nice race!

Great race!  You crushed that bike.

I noticed some dude MOVE SOMEONE'S BIKE so he could have the end spot.  I was so close to grabbing an official. This dude acted like it was his right.  Well it was definitely his plan as he strolled in 5 mintues before T-closing and made room for his bike on the wave 34 rack closest to bike exit.  Brilliant but rude.  I hope race karma returned him a favor with a flat on LSD.

Great bike! You likely passed me, hopefully only once, and hopefully I was properly on the left. That was hard, especially when the later waves starting coming in. I thought they were slower, but admittedly, I was pretty slow on the bike too.

I did not see any problems in transition except for some guy yelling at someone else to "Move it!" I don't think these guys who touch other people's gear get the concept of "sport" if they are basically cheating, expecially the jerk that takes the end spot. Again, I hope he was one of the ones walking back with their bike down LSD. That is actually a great transition time considering your stuff was moved around.
