Anybody for the Fort Collins Club Triathlon?

The race is this Sunday! I'd love to meet some BTers if any others will be there.

is it sold out?

Plenty of spots are available. They allow for 720 participants and only about 370 are signed up.

Edit: Sorry, online registration is actually closed, but you can sign up Saturday at the club between 10am and 3pm. See here.

I was thinking about doing the race... but I don't want to drive all the way up to FC on Sat... Return home and then drive back up to race... Is there race day registration?

Looks as though they extended online registration until Friday, Sept. 7th by Noon.

Now we are talking... I may do this...

I just read your post about the triathlon on Sunday, I am signed up for it and it will be my first tri. I am a bit nervous, any suggestions?

Wow, quite the post resurrection!

This triathlon is a lot of fun and it's very good as your first. I really wish I was going to be there so we could meet up, but due to extenuating circumstances I am unable to attend.

As for suggestions, just stay relaxed. You'll be nervous no matter what, but go for the enjoyment and the experience. You might fumble a transition -- I know I did -- but remember that it's your first and there will be plenty to learn from it.
