Wow! Congratulations to everyone! Jocelyn, your race report is awesome--what a great read .

My jaw is on the FLOOR looking at the swim times for that race. The fastest recorded swim was 8:39 for a half mile in the ocean?! Daaaaaaaamn.

I had a really good race, as I think you saw in the report.  Glad you did also, and I enjoyed your report too.  Didn't realize you were racked in my wave...now that we're rack-mates, you can call me Tim.

By any chance were you giving a bunch of tips to a large, but seemingly too young newbie in a sleeveless zoot? That probably wasn't you...

Next stop is the Day at the Beach Tri in Hermosa. How about you?

Nope, don't think that was me.

I'm done with triathlon for this year, next will probably be Newport Beach in the spring.

Looking at doing the Solvang 50 mile bike ride in November, though.

Anyone else get sick? I swear I have a stomach bug from that nasty ocean water. It's been a day of cramps, nausea, diarrhea. YUCK! Anyone else feeling under the weather?

I feel congestion in my chest and soreness in my throat. I did my best not to put my face in the water but I inhaled a few gulps. It was so nasty it wasn't even salty.
