Subject: Ironman Hawaii Race Report
Well I've finally returned from the Big Island and am just getting caught up. As I'm sure everyone has seen, conditions were challenging, but doable, so I am somewhat disappointed that I wasn't able to put a better day together.

With that being said, qualifying and racing in Kona was an experience I have dreamed about since that 1st sprint triathlon in '95 and it lived up to those dreams. Everything from the morning pre-race swims to the final run down Alii Drive are what makes this sport awesome.

Anyway, my Ironman Hawaii Race Report is now posted for anyone that would like to read it.

Enjoy the off-season and good luck to those athletes w/ GFT and IMF still on the calendar!

Wow... Congrats Brian! I've been reading your 21 days to Kona and just wanted to thank you for sharing this with everyone. It's been immensely interesting.

You did an amazing job! Way to hang in there on the run... sounds like things were rough there. Love the finish picture! You look ecstatic!
