You seem to have forgotten two of the potential top competitors ....... Craig Alexander and Samantha McGlone.  They both got their slots at the 70.3 WC and has been setting courses on fire ever since.  Alexander even top 5'ed an IM just to get a sense of what it will take.

I've got odds on for Macca and McGlone personally ......
