Well, just over two months after starting the aggressive couch to 5k, I finished my first run over twenty minutes today. This is about twice as long as any run I had done before starting the program and when I finished, I still felt great. In high school, the during every run and the day after I would feel like dying. Now, I am doubling the time and distance and feel great...both during the run and afterwards. I am starting to understand why people enjoy running and actually look forward to my three runs a week!

Congrats guy! You are a Runner. I know it's hard to believe. I still find it hard to believe that I'm a runner after leaping from barely finishing a mile to running three to four miles a day. Woo Hoo. It's awesome. Beware. There's no turning back now.

The next goal is to finish the aggressive program in December, and then to continue building my base from there. I was looking at doing a half marathon in May, however the weekend before will be my first ever sprint tri and I don't want to overwhelm myself. So I'm going to do the 10K this year and try for the half next year.
