Run
Comments: Felt good and kept a good pace. Could have beaten the 20 minute mark if I hadn't stopped for water on the run course. What would you do differently?: Run straight through and hydrate in the transition. Transition 1
Comments: When got in transition, turned left instead of right and lost bike for about 15 - 20 seconds. Other than that, off with run shoes and on with bike shoes was ok. What would you do differently?: Really get to know the bike position from entrance to the transition from the run. Bike
Comments: Some parts of the road was rough tarmc and strong headwinds for half the route. Felt pretty comfortable on the bike, but probably could have pushed harder. What would you do differently?: Push harder Transition 2
Comments: Uneventful this time as knew where racks was. What would you do differently?: Maybe use cages for this type of race to eliminate the requirement for changing shoes. Run
Comments: Much slower, took longer to get into a nice rythm. What would you do differently?: More brick pratices Post race
Warm down: Light stretching, wandering the race area and getting food. What limited your ability to perform faster: Need to push harder. Event comments: Good race, will consider doing next year after the Muskoka 70.3 Last updated: 2007-09-16 12:00 AM
