Comments:

This was planned to be an all out HR zone finding thingie. Maybe doing it by myself was a bad idea because I didn't do as well as I hoped. I got tired really quick and was unable to push myself. I told myself don't look at the watch, don't look at the watch. I felt good that I was actually passing people for once, so thought I was doing well, but then they yelled the one mile split, I'm like, WTF??? damn. I could feel my legs burning shortly into mile 2. Couple little rollers. The only thing I did that made me happy was pass more people instead of being passed and I passed Mrs. Horrible Saddlebags with half a mile to go after she leapfrogged me the entire course. So maybe it wasn't all bad.
What would you do differently?:

run with someone.
Post race
Warm down:

talked to Hank. He was the only familiar face there. Not much. Ate. Pizza, chicken sandwiches, smoothies, fruit, water all was available. Went home and drove boys around all day.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

my running sucks.

Event comments:

IT's depressing, am I ever gonna run a 5K in under 30 minutes??
max HR for the race was 177, overall average was 169. I wonder if I could of tried harder.... or am I just fat and out of shape??
*sigh*
Next 5K coming soon... probably Richard's Run for Life, nighttime run through Ybor City. He has the BEST post race food!!

Yes, of course you'll get there!    You've got other stuffs going on that slowed you down.

Richards Run for Life?  They did the bike thing from last year, right?  Man, you guys get the best food!  I got a fig newton yesterday!  But then, I did come in almost dead last!

Thanks for wearing the shirt!  !!!

Can we get a pic of Mrs. Horrible Saddlebags?

Not everybody can say they just ran 5k as they're doing taxi duty for their kids..you could just drop that into conversation later.."You know, when I was going through mile 3 of the race today"...
