Well I haven't been screaming it from the rooftops, but now that my race report is FINALLY finished, I wanted to share the details of my first Half Iron race... which, if I do say so myself, I won

Few first places have been harder earned or more deserved. 

MWA HA HA ... I have a better "dumb" reason than you for missing the awards ceremony ... I was asleep under a tree.

You were a huge inspiration in my race. I kept remembering how you said that three mediocre splits got you a first (BS, frankly, you raced all parts in a manner amazing beyond even your eloquent words) ... and I kept trundling along. THANK YOU!!!

Well alot of people who win who do not even win an event. remember its about who is best all around and not who is the best at 1 thing. You do not have to be the best biker but you better run faster than him. .
