congrats,, Just buy all the tri-gear first and what 's left over goes to shoes, purses etc... unless of course you registered at the local bike shops and running stores.. Hey how cool would that be.

Enjoy the day but remember it's all about her

Congrats - One piece of advice. When issues come up, the statement of "Honey, what makes you happy makes me happy" goes a long ways - the hard part is meaning it!

No doubt - I'm still trying to explain that to her. She is already making plans to spend the refend that I will no longer be getting.

Enjoy the day but remember it's all about her

Funny thing is, I already have everything I would need for the house, so I actually (as a joke) suggested getting registered at my LBS. Eveyone could have made a donation to a new Cervelo. Ahhhh, that didn't go over very well! So now we are getting pointless things like a "cheese serving set" and a new hand mixer (even though I have two already, but not a RED one!)

Thank eveyone! I'm looking forward to it. She is a great girl and has been very supportive of the whole tri thing.

To think, I started tri'ing because I wanted to lose weight for the wedding and pictures (AND I always dreamed of doing one!)

So now, for marriage AND tri's, Im "in it to win it"!

Here are some engagement pics. I will put a couple more up after the "event". The third one down is one of my favorites I through in. It's the fiance "at work" modeling for a poker event (yes, body paint). I'm the big goon on the left next to my lifelong crush Jennifer Tilly and her poker BF Phil Lock.

Congrats!!  Get her into Tris then she won't care about purses and clothes..  (i'm sorry.. the shoe addiction never goes away

I ask her after every race. She has some interest in a sprint, but says running hurts her knees. She is a dancer, so that strikes me odd!

The only problem with her doing tri's, it's two of eveything we have to buy! I already "invest too much".... strike that, "spend the perfect amount"...... Strike that, "don't spend enough" on tri's for me.
