Pre-race routine:

Meet with Virgina Tech Team "Run for 32". Took some pics, and shot a few clips for the news. Went pee 5 times, and we were off! First Half Marathon. My heart was racing!!

This was the most amazing accomplishment in my training. I have never felt so positive, and to complete it with individuals who had such a passion for what they were running for was so Amazing. I thank Joel so much for giving us this opportunity. Amazing Race, amazing fans, Brandon set a PR, and celebrated his birthday. Awesome vacation.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked though thousands of racers all piles up at the finish. Took about 20 minutes to get to our finisher bag and FREE SANDALS waiting for us at the beach. Found Brandon, was so happy for his time. He finished 3rd out of the men on our team.
