Try Andy's Tri
80F / 27C
Sunny
Total Time = 54m 26s
Overall Rank = 35/5
Age Group = 20-24
Age Group Rank = 1/14
Pre-race routine:

Got up, body glided myself where the sun don't shine, got dressed, brushed teeth, ate, and got on the road.
Event warmup:

Easy spin 1.5 miles
  • 3 mile run.

  • Core stretching, leg stretches

    Swim
    • 05m 9s
    • 300 meters
    • 01m 40s / 100 meters
    Comments:

Point to point. The best kind of swim there is. Lots of debris in the water, very murky. Short and sweet, how all swims should be! (swimming is my biggest weakness)
    What would you do differently?:

Not much to change in a race so short. An improvement from my most recent times. Masters swim is helping!! :)
    Transition 1
    • 01m 24s
    Comments:

Good transition. My bike was WAY on the other side of transition, so in T1 I had a big disadvantage, but in T2, I had the upper hand.
    What would you do differently?:

    Nada
    Bike
    • 26m 19s
    • 10 miles
    • 22.80 mile/hr
    What would you do differently?:

Nada. Probably could've pushed a little harder though.
    Transition 2
    • 00m 39s
    What would you do differently?:

    Nada.
    Run
    • 20m 54s
    • 3 miles
    • 06m 58s  min/mile
    Comments:

SO many turns! It was like we made a big four-leafed clover shape. I think we made 3 or four U turns, plus all the right and left hand turns. Some of the run was on grass, some on road, some on sidewalk, and some in mud!
    What would you do differently?:

    Go faster :)
    Post race
    Warm down:

Crossed the finish line. Found Andrew. Went stratight to results.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

    Um duh...myself.

    Event comments:

Super fun. If you have the opportunity to do the race, you should. Well organized, good volunteers, and an all around good time. Happy racing!
