Quick question that hopefully somebody can answer.  This saturday Dallas Athletes is putting on a kids tri that I am thinking of signing my son up for.  Initially I had a bunch of questions and tried to call DA and finally got ahold of someone and asked my question but have since thought of a few others and now noone is answering the phones there.

For those of you with experience with your kids and races like this do they kids normally have to be at packet p/u or can the parents just get everything and are they required to have the USAT Kids license?   Packet p/u is in keller, I work in Irving and I live in Carrollton and since the hours are from 4-7 and I can get out of work in Irving and drive to carrollton to get my son and then drive to Keller and fight traffic.

 Thanks

Don't know about DA, but when we did IronJack's Benbrook Kids Tri last May, I think picked up the packet w/o the kid.  We did get her the USAT annual membership - which is all of $5-6.

Thanks, I actually just called and was able to speak with someone and what you said is the same.  No kids needed and the $5.00 is included.  I am signing him up now.

In case you don't know, the $5 is an annual membership for all youth (17 and under).
