Ummm, so, this was really good...I started off fast, and just kept going...for the first time, I spotted off of people in front of me, I think thats a good tip:) The weird thing is that I haven't practiced swimming in TWO MONTHS!! What the heck...
What would you do differently?:

nothing, my best swim ever!

Had matt cheering me on the whole time, that sped me up...but I did jog over a pine cone that hurt a bit...

Comments:

So, yeah, I rode Matts carbon fiber Trek with his Zip wheels today, and it was - umm, really fucking fast! Wow, I mean, seriously, I was going fast...got caught in this group of people, we weren't drafting, we all (like 5 of us) kept trying to pass each other, but no one could get ahead)...anyways, ended up talking to people the whole time, and it was awesome...wow, I love his bike!
What would you do differently?:

Talk less, could I possibly ever go over 20mph?!?!
Transition 2
  • 01m 13s
Comments:

Took my time...
What would you do differently?:

not take my time:)
Run
  • 29m 58s
  • 2.75 miles
  • 10m 54s  min/mile
Comments:

I suck at running...and I did again, since it was my birthday yesterday, I gorged on cake, and felt that cake on the run...oh my gosh, got such a big cramp, I had to walk - I limited it to one minute of walking...I think I ended up a bit faster because of it, just needed to catch my breath...didn't end up doing much worse than 3 weeks ago on this one (50 seconds worse)...anyways, I NEED to get better at the run, and for now, I'm blaming it on the cake!
What would you do differently?:

Not a a birthday full of cake the day before a race:)
Post race
Warm down:

Stretch, drink water...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

TOO MUCH CAKE the day before!

Event comments:

Race was much larger than last year, and I really enjoyed the attitude of the women...it was a great race!!
