I may come down for that..my schedule's a bit hectic from now until Christmas so I'm not sure yet. I love riding in that area, even if it's too flat. I've been riding in the mountains north of Madrid for the past couple of weeks; gives you a new perspective on what constitutes a climb!

I like your website Peter.

is there any way to ID your group? I will try and check ya out. i've never done a bike race.

any words of wisdom? i'd imagine the ride with become pretty independant, just like the triathlons do. On the other hand,, the swim seperates alot.

Are teams allowed to draft in a bike race?

wow.... now i realize i am just doing this as a workout to Ironman 08, but I would also like to do well.

It isn't actually a race, just an organized and supported ride.  They have directions, maps, SAG support.  They also have a couple of stops to eat and whatever.

Go to the website and read it...  http://www.horrible-hundred.com/

I did the Strawberry Century in Plant City last year and it was great.  Rolled not too far from my house    Probably plan that one again this coming year.

I am planning to. That is not something I would have thought of. Is there a possibility I would have to take parts off my bike?
