Comments:

Ran almost as hard as I think I can.

Again, since training began, this was my fastest 5K.

Maxim, my 8 year old son, toughed it out and did a 28:03. I was very proud of him. The poor little guy thought he was last and was a bit sad about that as he ran through the cemetery. He was 23 out of 37 actually.

Warm down:

The start of the race was about 1/4 mile from the organization area. So I just walked back with Max.

Event comments:

A lot of fun. A lot of organizers, but not many talking about how the race would go down. Not too important though. The race was really not being taken too seriously, which was fine with me too.

Course:	The run was at night. The course was wet with light rain. It was fun. Everyone was there primarily for fun. It also wound through a cemetery and seemed like it went on forever. Lots of turns. Lots of fun.
