Comments:

I felt great the first 3 miles I event was thinking and hoping that my sore knee was gone for the race. But I was wrong I started feeling the pain on the up hills but the down hills didn't hurt much. The hills I had to result to power walking. I walked until my knee felt good then I would run until I felt like I need to run. After the last hill I eas able to keep up a good pace. I was able to improve on last years time even with all the walking I ended up doing. I really think If I was health I could have done better than 2 hours. I didn't feel as spent like last year.
What would you do differently?:

Not have sore knees and follow the nelson marathon plan and not put ing such long runs. I can see that the marathon, 10k and this Half marathon really had been a big impack on my over all training. Need to train with a more consistant and steady program.
Post race
Warm down:

Waited in line for some great post race food. Much better athan last year even though it was the same menu. The berry tart was the best.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lots of support and lots of aid stations.

Event comments:

Great race I can not wait for next year to do it again!!!!

Hey, I'd do the race just for the berry tart!

Glad it was a good one for you, congratulations! Sorry you had to walk through the knee pain but considering, it was an excellent effort.
