Subject: This week is a RICE week.
So I was stupid. I lowered my handle bars, and didnt clamp the front break back down. I took a downhill turn a bit fast. While I managed to slow enough not to endo over the curb, I slowed too much and didn't managed to unclip in time, and smashed my foot on the curb trying to catch myself.

ouch.  I've had my share of injuries this year, so I can certainly sympathize.

Nice save though. It sounds like it could have been a lot worse.

Hope you feel better quickly.

Close call. I dropped my bars to and forgot apparantly to rescrew it back. I ended up going down hill at 41 mph that day and didnt notice that I could turn my handle bars any way I wanted and the wheel wouldnt follow. Oooops. I was freaked when I realized it. I knew something was wrong the moment I left but didnt get what it was till the end.
Enjoy the rice though. Almost been there myself.
