Hi,
has anyone tried out the Blueseventy Pointzero3 speedskin (http://www.blueseventy.com/pointzero3/pz3.html#). If so does it give you any kind of buoyancy advantage over wearing a pair of regular jammers? This is not a wet-suit so I wouldn't think you get any kind of extra buoyancy.

The legality of the speedskins is that they do NOT provide any buoyancy, so that answers one of your questions. They have to be legal for non-wetsuit swims.

What they do is reduce hydrodynamic drag. You have to then decide whether the increase in swimming speed is worth the time it will take to remove it in T1 (as these suits are not meant to wear throughout the entire race). I would think that the answer would be "no" unless you're at IM distance.
