Swim
Comments: Swim was listed as 150 meter swim on the web site. Found out 2 days before the race when I was calling in my swim time that the swim was doubled up to 300 meters. I thought this would be a problem for me as I am not an expert swimmer. Instead I had no problems swimming the 300 meters. I was pleasantly surprised. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: T1 was tied in with your total swim time. I have no idea how long it took. What would you do differently?: Dry off my back so my jersey does not get stuck trying to get it on. Bike
Comments: The bike went well. As with my run, I think I could have pushed a little harder, but I had no idea how I should pace myself. What would you do differently?: Ride just a little harder. Transition 2
Comments: I did not use cycling shoes, therefore this transition went very quickly. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Should have run a little harder. What would you do differently?: Run Harder. Post race
Warm down: Some stretching. What limited your ability to perform faster: Inexperience. Event comments: The racers at the back of the start did not get to eat at the end of the event because they did not have enough food. This was not fair to everyone. This is my first Triathlon so I do not have much of a routine yet! I woke up three hours before the race start time and had a bowl of Cheerios with bananas in it. After that I started to pack the truck with my gear and was off to the races.
