Hi everyone,

FYI, there are two events going this week starting off at Merriman hollow.

Tonight 11/13 is Run Through The Lights and tomorrow is the ride. Both start at 7:00, bring lights and blinkers if you are game.

I'll be volunteering for the ride tomorrow but will be skipping the run this evening.

Sounds cool. I can't make it but I've wondered about Hines Dr.

As I understand it, they shut it down on the weekends for foot and bike traffic? How far? I've heard it has some decent elevation change, is that true?

Is that also where they run the Martian Marathon?

Elevation change is OK on Hines, but the route you had mapped out is way hillier. Hines is pretty gentle rolling hills, there is only one hill of significance close to downtown Northville.
