Another vote for running outside no matter the temp. After all, why do we pay for all this expensive gear if we never use it?!?

Outside every time

 

The cold crisp air burning your lungs as you push yourself to your limits on that big hill that you do battle with, the sweat on your brow and in your hair slowly turning to frost as you ease up for recovery.  as the chill starts to bite ... you fire up again into anther hard interval.

 Its good to be alive..

I prefer to run in the cold instead of the blistering heat. My run times are better and it's easier to cool down while still in motion by simply taking off a hat or glove (as opposed to having to slow down or stop to get body temps back down). The best 5k time I've ever had was last winter in 3* weather.
