Pre-race routine:

got numbers and shirts. wandered around with AdCo and a couple of friends, and the dog. spent quality time in the portapottie lines. looked for BT'ers, but missed them.
Event warmup:

stood around with 8000 other people and laughed at corny announcer man.

Comments:

better than last year, but I still feel like I could have gone faster. Hill at the start took a lot out of my legs.
What would you do differently?:

well, considering I only really started running again Monday of this week, I'm thinking my race was not so bad. Bootcamp has helped, but I have to get the miles in.

Warm down:

walked through the parking garage to pick up our pies.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of training, excess weight

Event comments:

love this race - lots of people walking so there's always someone slower than me, which is not normally the case for my races.

argh... you didn't come to the kid's race track to say hi. 

Agree the hill at first mile is tiring.  Great race.  Hope to see you again soon.
