Great run for me - 5k PR, and the first time that I've held under 6 minute miles in a race. Kept a pretty consistent pace throughout - it helped that I found a guy running an almost identical pace, and we really pushed each other up the hills. The usual guy (Ludo) from my age group beat me by almost a minute, which actually wasn't too bad considering he was pushing really hard for the overall win (he came in 2nd overall). I won an apple pie for second place (1st place gets a turkey, 2nd place a pie, and 3rd place a package of dinner rolls).

Considering that I've been running mostly longer, slower runs, I am really happy with this time. I was almost 30 seconds/mile faster than last year. To be fair, I was still dealing with plantar fasciitis then, but I'm still really happy with how I'm running right now.
