Pre-race routine:

Got up bright and early and headed over to Marietta. It was raining cats and dogs on my way there. I drank half a Mountain Dew and had some pop tarts. Not exactly the best pre race meal, but it's pretty normal for me.
Event warmup:

Ran a bit around the square

Comments:

The start line was pretty insane. They had all the 5K and 10K individuals starting together and this was suppose to be a Peachtree Qualifyer. Once the race got underway I tripped over a dog, tripped over a stroller, and I got stuck behind the man with BO. Than, I ran behind this guy that just farted not stop. Interesting race to say the least.

Event comments:

This was my first race since my bike accident at the end of September. This was also the furthest I've ran since than as well. I can tell that I'm not 100% healed, but I didn't feel too bad and I'm slowly making progress. Hopefully when the New Year starts, I'll be able to go full throttle with my training. Until than, I'm going to take it easy.
