Quick report - a month and a half late!
This had been my A race all summer, but after getting hit by a car, and dealing with a nagging knee injury, it became more of a fun run. And yes, it was a lot of fun - at least until the last couple miles. I felt cramps coming on, and was reduced to stopping and stretching multiple times in the last couple miles. My legs seized up so badly that I couldn't move another step without working the cramps out. I drank gatorade along the route, but carried no salt supplements. Lesson learned....
It was a great day in Manchester! The city really showed up and supported the event well. I was proud to be part of this city, and hope the event continues and thrives for many, many years!
What would you do differently?:

We know you would have been able to knock out a sub 3 no problem.  Heal up from the negligent driver, get the house ready for that other big thing and enjoy life!!

Still a BQ even though it was a "fun run."
