Fizik Arione TRI 2 is the bomb.  I used the a$$hatchet profile design stryke for 07.  08 will be about the Fizik.

Curious to get more feedback here since I'm currently experiencing some problems with numbness during/after trainer rides.

This was never a problem in the 2+ years of riding prior to the purchase of the trainer. Guess the trainer rides are more static, leading to more sustained pressure.

Switched to the Profile Tri Stryke after reading reviews of several saddles (see: http://www.bikesportmichigan.com/reviews/saddle06.shtml). Unfortunately, not much improvement so far (though I'm still tinkering with adjustment).

I've read and heard good things about the Adamo, but I'm hoping to find something that's a bit more traditional/versatile.

Gents...thoughts on saddle and numbness?

Well I'm not a guy but I can tell you that the Airone Tri has been very successful for many of my male customers.......The Adamo has been a life saver for many of my men and women customers....me included. For those of you guys having a lot of issues with numbness this seat works....I know it is not the best looking seat out there but it is worth a try.

Tri-It - 2007-12-27 12:29 PM ....I know it is not the best looking seat out there but it is worth a try.

Since when has multisport been about looking good?

I'm out there in a neon sausage-skin tri suit with my love handles jumpin' around riding a bike that (as beautiful as it is to me) causes my friends and family to shake their heads at because it's so "wierd looking", sitting atop the ugliest saddle known to man...and smilin' like a moron all the way!

Adamo rocks!

Adamo ordered. I really hope this will provide me the relief others have gotten. Never had any problems with numbness until I started logging "mileage" on the trainer last month. I've tried to concentrate on form/position and tinkered with seat position/angle, but to no avail. Switching to the PD Tri Stryke, if anything, made matters worse for me.

Agreed, the Adamo is the shiznit. For those who can't get used to it as far as looks, remember its designed specifically for time trial positioning and it doesn't have two noses ..... it has NO noses. I though it was weird looking to, but when it was pointed out to me that its not designed to be ridden traditionally, I finally understood. I spoke to a pro rider who was suing before i bought mine and he said that if while you are riding you can look between your legs and see the saddle, you aren't riding it the way it was designed to be ridden. For my tri-bike, its ADAMO all the way, though I do ride a traditional saddle on my road bike where I spend much more time on the hoods versus the drops.

50 grams in weight (material of the saddle rails) and the Race is slightly narrower (5mm) than the Road.

What is difference between race and road Adamos ?

Road model is a bit wider and has more gel & padding, prticularly farther back on the dsddle.

The newest model, the Typhoon, has much more padding (1" foam) and & "ultra" gel but is geared towards a more recreational rider.

It is still recommended for those of us who tend to ride more on the nose than on the seat?

Former Profile Design Tri Stryke user.  Once I tried the Fizik Arione, there is no going back.  One Stryke is on ebay right now and another one will be up soon.
